About Jenny

Jenny was elected in March 2000 as the Griffin Ward Councillor and re-elected in 2003, 2005, 2008 and 2012.

Jenny was awarded an OAM in 2018 for service to Banyule and local charities.

Griffin Ward includes East Ivanhoe, Eaglemont and parts of Heidelberg.

Jenny has Italian heritage and has lived in the northern suburbs of Melbourne all of her life. Jenny has lived in Griffin Ward for the past 40 years with David, has four adult children and five grandchildren. She has participated in many community groups during that time, including Rotary, RSL, Lions and Neighbourhood Watch.

Jenny was Banyule’s first female Mayor in 2003 and again in 2004. Jenny was Deputy Mayor in 2005, 2010 and 2014.

Jenny has served on a range of internal and external committees, including being Chair and Board Member of the Yarra Plenty Regional Library Service.

Jenny Mulholland is a great contributor to local charities and has been chairperson of the Wellness Ball inc. raising over $250,000 over 4 years for ONJ Cancer and Wellness centre. In past years as fundraising chairperson of Lions House foundation trust raised over $35,000.
